At one point last year, we had our plan and we were down to only 1 car payment and our mortgage!!! We had a plan that that car (we owed about $18,000 on it) would be paid off in 13 months and that our house (we've lived here 3 years with a 30 yr mortgage) would be paid off in 7 years!!!  We are still working that plan, but with a few minor career set backs, our plan is on hold until we get caught back up.  BUT...we still have a plan and that's the most important thing!
